- Slide to green if patient is under 8 years of age
EASI (Eczema Area and Severity Index) was developed by Prof Jon Hanifin and colleagues.
Hanifin JM et al. Exp Dermatol. 2001 Feb;10(1):11-8.
A user guide, providing more details on how to perform the EASI score, has been produced as a resource by the HOME initiative (Harmonising Outcome Measures for Eczema) and is available to download here.
The interpretation of EASI scores in comparison to an investigator's global assessment are reported by Leshem et al. Br J Dermatol 2015.
The EASI calculator was developed and published by Lawrence Brown with design input from Dr Sara Brown and financial support from the Wellcome Trust (086398/Z/08/Z).
